Hall of Honour
According to the dictates of protocol, it is in this lobby that the
President welcomes visiting Heads of State. Paved with white Carrara and Belgian royal red marble, the ceremonial lobby is lit by a 30-lamp gilded bronze chandelier.
The central mirror reflects a sculpture by Arman,
entitled "Homage to the French Revolution," consisting of 200 white marble banners attached to gilded bronze flagpoles.
