Chased bronze and gilt clock depicting the fall of Phaeton. The lower part of the clock depicts the myth of Phaeton and Daphne. The bronze base contains a music box. The clock, whose mechanism was designed by Romain, has a 24-hour dial, together with the months, phases of the moon and the position of the signs of the Zodiac.
