The Dining Room
This was formerly the King's bedroom. The Dining Room has a table set for a hunting breakfast at the center; on the "Fougères" tablecloth we see Sèvres porcelain and "Crossed Ribbon" cutlery from Christophle. The tapestries over the door date back to 1900 and were produced specifically for this room with the Republican monogram. There is a Second Empire Savonnerie rug on the floor.
Two Gobelins New Indies tapestry hangings inspired by Desportes, "The negress carried in a hammock" and "the Indian hunter" are also on display in this room.
