Letter from M. Jacques CHIRAC, President of the Republic, to Mr Vladimir PUTIN, following the air disaster in Siberia

President Putin,

I was very sad to learn of this morning's terrible air disaster in Irkutsk, Siberia.

In these tragic and painful circumstances for Russia, I wanted to express to you my wholehearted solidarity and ask you to convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved.
