On the sixtieth anniversary of Your Majesty's accession to the throne of Thailand, I should like to express to You my warmest wishes, together with those of the French people. I know that the Thai people will magnificently show their respect for Your Majesty's tireless efforts for the good of the Thai nation and I would like to join in this tribute.
Moreover, I personally take this happy opportunity to reiterate to Your Majesty and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit my most sincere thanks for the welcome You extended to me and my wife during my State visit to Thailand.
